Terms of Service
Terms for using edos.io
These terms govern your use of edos.io, the website of Enterprise DevOps Solutions LLC, a United States company. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Our Privacy Policy describes the data the site handles and is part of these terms.
1. What this site is
edos.io describes our consulting services and the products we build, introduces our team, and lets you contact us. It is an information and contact site. It offers no accounts, sells nothing directly and takes no payments. Anything you can do on it, you can do without registering.
2. Using the site
- You may view the site and, for your own reference, print or save pages from it.
- You may link to any page of the site. Do not frame it or present it as your own.
- We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.
- You must be at least 18 years old to submit the contact form.
3. Consulting engagements
The site describes the kinds of work we do. It does not offer or create a consulting engagement. Every engagement is governed by its own written agreement, such as a statement of work or master services agreement, signed by Enterprise DevOps Solutions LLC and the client. Nothing on this site, and nothing you send through the contact form, creates a contract, a quotation, an obligation to perform work, or a professional-advice relationship. Descriptions of past or typical outcomes are illustrations, not promises about your project.
4. Products
The site introduces products built by EDOS. Each product is a separate service with its own terms; these site terms do not govern it.
- Orkestera (orkestera.com) is in active development with design partners. Access is arranged under a written agreement with each design partner.
- Ork Meter and Ork Meter for Discord (orkmeter.com) are governed by the Ork Meter Terms of Service and the Ork Meter Privacy Policy.
Signing in to Ork Meter with a Google or GitHub account is subject to the Ork Meter terms and to this site's Privacy Policy, which describes what the sign-in app receives from Google.
5. Content and no warranty
We try to keep the site accurate and current, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties about the site and its content, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Technical material on the site is general information, not advice for your situation; do not rely on it without independent verification.
6. Intellectual property
The site, its text, graphics, design and code are owned by Enterprise DevOps Solutions LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. The EDOS name, the EDOS mark, Orkestera, Ork Meter and the related logos are marks of Enterprise DevOps Solutions LLC. You may not use them without our written permission, except to refer to us accurately. Other names and marks on the site belong to their owners. Fonts are served under their own licences from Google Fonts.
7. Acceptable use
You will not:
- use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights;
- send unsolicited, deceptive, abusive or unlawful content through the contact form, or submit someone else's details without their permission;
- probe, scan, overload or interfere with the site, go.edos.io, or their security and rate limits;
- scrape the site or harvest contact details from it for marketing;
- copy, mirror or republish substantial parts of the site without permission.
We may block access from a source that breaks these rules.
8. The contact form and your submissions
When you send us a message through the site, you confirm that the details are yours or that you are authorised to share them, and you allow us to use the message to respond to you. We handle it as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not send confidential material through the form; wait for a written agreement that covers it. We may use ideas or feedback you send us without obligation to you.
9. Third-party sites and services
The site links to sites we do not control, such as GitHub, team members' personal sites and product sites, and uses third-party services to operate: Google Fonts, Cloudflare Turnstile, Amazon Web Services and SendGrid. Links are for your convenience and are not endorsements. Those sites and services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Enterprise DevOps Solutions LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or reliance on the site or its content. Because the site is free to use, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in them limits liability under a separate written agreement, which is governed by that agreement. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; where that is the case, they apply only as far as the law permits.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Enterprise DevOps Solutions LLC is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting a formal dispute, contact us at info@edos.io; we will try to resolve it with you directly.
12. Changes to these terms
We will post changes here with a new date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it. Material changes are announced on this page.
